Sloppy Pork Stew

Really nice, tasty, and simple homemade recipe, that will complete your lunch. And, it’s really good recipe. You can also eat this for Christmas dinner, or any holiday recipe.

Homemade Pork Stew Sloppy Pork Stew

Ingredients

  • 4 pork meat peaces
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 6-8 tbsp tomato puree
  • 5 tablespoons white wine
  • oil
  • flour
  • pepper
  • salt
  • parsley
  • celery
  •  kale
  • Dumplings
  • eggs
  • Flour, water

Preparation

  1. Rinse steaks, season with salt and pepper, on the one hand roll in flour and pepper and fry in hot oil on each side for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Remove steaks from the heat in the same oil, put the finely chopped onion, garlic and simmer until the onions get lightly golden. Easy to grout with water until the onion starts to crumble.
  3. Return the steaks and lightly add water and cover and leave to cook for 15-20 minutes. Add water as needed.
  4. When the meat slightly tender add tomato liquid, wine, cabbage, celery and other spices. Tomatoes and paprika added as desired. So cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, put water to boil, add salt and oil.
  6. Of a mixture of flour, eggs, water, salt and pepper, mix a thick paste, and a large spoon to shape dumplings that we put into the water to cook slowly so they remain intact
  7. When the dumplings rise to the surface, remove them from water and serve with the stew.

Serving

Mint goes with dumplings, dumplings, mashed potatoes, žganjce … ma stew … goes with everything:)
